Rated In=400A with adjustable overload protection Ir=160...400A and short-circuit protection Ii=1.5...10 x In, it carries a breaking capacity class M rated Icu=55kA at 415V AC — sufficient for most industrial distribution panels where fault levels sit in the 50 kA range.
The ETU320 LI trip unit provides adjustable long-time (overload) and instantaneous (short-circuit) protection curves, letting you coordinate with downstream breakers or motor starters. The integrated shunt trip on the left side accepts 24 V AC or 24-30 V DC, so a remote emergency-stop or PLC-based trip signal can open the breaker without a separate contactor. The auxiliary switch (changeover H) and trip alarm switch (changeover) give the control system status feedback — useful for a BMS or SCADA input.
