The 3VA2340-5HL42-0BC0: The ETU320 overcurrent release is the brains — electronic, adjustable, no communication function or phase failure detection on this variant. It ships with an undervoltage release (UVR) fitted (design code for the auxiliary release), and two HQ auxiliary switches (2 auxiliary switches HQ). The integrated auxiliary trip module is order code 3VA9608-0BB11; the supplied basic switch is 3VA2340-5HL42-0AA0. Max power loss is 98.5 W — factor that into your enclosure thermal budget. Mechanical endurance is 15,000 operations.
Physical fit and environmental range
Dimensions are 248 mm high, 184 mm wide, 110 mm deep — standard SENTRON 3VA2 footprint for a 400 A frame. Operating temperature range is -25 °C to 70 °C; storage range is -40 °C to 80 °C. No trip indicator on this variant, no voltage trigger. Ground fault monitoring is not fitted. The breaker mounts in a standard distribution panel or switchboard — no DIN-rail clip on this frame size, it bolts in.
