The Siemens 3VA2340-5HN32-0DK0 is a 3-pole IEC frame 400 moulded-case circuit breaker with a 55 kA breaking capacity at 415 V (class M), fitted with an ETU350 LSI trip unit rated at 400 A. The overload protection is adjustable from 160 A to 400 A; short-circuit pickup (Isd) is set between 1.5 and 10 times Ir, and the instantaneous pickup (Ii) is fixed at 10 times In.
The ETU350 LSI trip unit gives you separate adjustment of long-time (overload), short-time (short-circuit with delay), and instantaneous protection, so you can coordinate selectively with downstream breakers. The undervoltage release (208–230 V AC) drops the breaker on loss of control voltage, which is common in emergency-stop chains or undervoltage protection schemes.
