The Siemens 3VA2340-5HN32-0KB0 is a 3-pole IEC molded-case circuit breaker in the 3VA2 frame, rated for 400 A continuous current with an interrupting capacity of 55 kA at 415 V AC (breaking capacity class M). It carries the ETU350 electronic trip unit configured for LSI protection — long-time (Ir adjustable 160–400 A), short-time (Isd 1.5–10×Ir), and instantaneous (Ii fixed at 10×In).
The ETU350 LSI trip unit gives the commissioning engineer granular adjustment of long-time pickup and delay, short-time pickup and delay, and a fixed instantaneous threshold, enabling selective coordination with downstream feeders. The shunt trip at 208–277 V AC allows remote tripping from a safety circuit or emergency-stop chain.
