Compared to the smaller 3VA2116-5JP32-0AE0 (a 160 A frame), this 3VA2340 carries a 400 A frame with substantially higher breaking capacity — 242 kA vs the 160 A unit's lower ratings — so a panel originally specified for the 160 A breaker cannot simply drop in the 400 A version without checking busbar ampacity, lug size, and enclosure thermal limits.
