The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2340-8HL42-0AA0 is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 400 A continuous current at 40 °C, with an ETU320 electronic overcurrent release designed for line protection. Breaking capacity spans 440 kA at 240 V, 330 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 220 kA at 500 V, and 52.5 kA at 690 V, giving selectivity headroom for high-fault installations.
The 184 mm width and 248 mm height define the cutout; 110 mm depth leaves clearance for rear-access wiring and busbar connections. IP40 on the front means tools and fingers stay out, but the enclosure interior must keep the breaker dry — no washdown exposure without an outer cabinet.
