The adjustable thermal-magnetic trip range spans 600 A minimum to 4 800 A maximum — that's the short-time and instantaneous pickup window, not the continuous rating. Continuous rating is fixed at 400 A. The 187 kA at 240 V is the interrupting rating for the highest available fault current; at 690 V it drops to 9 kA, which still covers most 690 V motor circuits.
That means it drops the breaker if control voltage is lost — useful for emergency-stop chains or safety circuits where a loss of power must open the main. No ground-fault monitoring or communication module on this order code; those are separate add-on options.
Footprint is 138 mm wide by 248 mm tall, with a depth of 110 mm. That's a standard SENTRON 3VA form factor — it fits existing 3VA panel cutouts and bus-bar layouts without re-drilling. The basic switch variant (3VA2440-5HL32-0AA0) is the core breaker; this order code adds the UVR and auxiliary switch pack at the factory.
