Motor Protection Circuit Breaker, 400 A Frame
The Siemens 3VA2440-7MN32-0AH0 is a 3-pole IEC frame 630 circuit breaker in the 3VA2 series, fitted with an ETU350M electronic trip unit for motor protection. The LSI protection profile covers overload (Ir adjustable 160 A to 400 A), short-time short-circuit (Isd 3 to 15 × Ir), and instantaneous (Ii fixed at 15 × In). The 110 kA breaking capacity at 415 V (class C) means it can safely interrupt fault currents up to that level without upstream cascading — sized for high-fault industrial distribution.
Panel Integration and Accessories
The breaker ships with a nut keeper kit and two auxiliary switches HQ plus one trip alarm switch HQ — these are factory-fitted, not field-add-on kits. The 3VA2 frame mounts on a DIN rail or can be screw-fixed to a backplate. The ETU350M is self-powered from the line side; no external control power is required for the trip unit.
