What this MCCB carries
The Siemens 3VA2440-7MN32-0BB0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker rated for 400 A continuous current across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling. Breaking capacity hits 330 kA at 240 V, 242 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 187 kA at 500 V, and 9 kA at 690 V, so it handles high-fault industrial feeds without cascading upstream. The ETU350M electronic trip unit gives you adjustable long-time, short-time, instantaneous, and ground-fault protection curves.
Panel fit and integration
Three-pole footprint: 138 mm wide, 248 mm tall, 110 mm deep. IP40 on the front keeps dust out of the enclosure face. Undervoltage release and phase failure detection are built in — no add-on modules needed for those protective functions. Two HP auxiliary switches come fitted for status feedback to the PLC or alarm panel.
