Interrupting capacity and thermal derating
This MCCB's interrupting capacity drops with system voltage: 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 9 kA at 690 V. The 500 A continuous rating holds up to 50 °C ambient; above that it derates to 477 A at 55 °C, 455 A at 60 °C, 432 A at 65 °C, and 410 A at 70 °C. A panel OEM wireman should account for the 99 W maximum power loss when sizing enclosure ventilation.
Dimensions are 248 mm height, 184 mm width, and 110 mm depth — a standard SENTRON 3VA2 frame footprint that drops into existing panel cutouts and DIN-rail mounting schemes. The 4-pole configuration with no undervoltage release and no communication module keeps wiring straightforward for the panel builder.
