The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2450-5MN32-0AH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 500 A continuous current at 40 °C, built for motor protection with the ETU350M electronic trip unit.
At 500 A continuous (rated Iu) it carries motor loads in that range without derating up to 50 °C; above that the curve drops to 495 A at 55 °C and 480 A at 70 °C — relevant if the breaker sits in a hot cabinet near drives or transformers. The 187 kA interrupting rating at 240 V covers most North American 480Y/277 V panelboard mains where the available fault current is high; at 690 V it still holds 17 kA, enough for most 600 V class industrial systems. The ETU350M trip unit provides phase-failure detection and adjustable overload protection, so it works as a motor-circuit protector for a single motor or as a feeder breaker with selective coordination.
The auxiliary contact block (2 auxiliary + 1 trip alarm, HQ version) is pre-installed for remote status feedback.
