The breaker is fitted with an ETU350M electronic trip unit configured for motor protection with LSI characteristics: overload protection Ir adjustable from 200 A to 500 A, short-delay protection Isd from 3 to 15 times Ir, and instantaneous protection Ii fixed at 15 times In (500 A). This makes it suited for protecting medium-voltage motor feeders where coordination with downstream contactors and overloads is required.
An undervoltage release (24 V DC) is factory-fitted as an accessory, allowing remote tripping on loss of control voltage — common in safety circuits and emergency-stop chains.
