The interrupting rating drops from 242 kA at 240 V to 187 kA at 415 V and 440 V, then to 121 kA at 500 V, and 9 kA at 690 V. The 7 000 A maximum and 750 A minimum trip settings give the ETU850 wide adjustment range for coordination studies.
The breaker holds its full 500 A rating through 50 °C ambient. Above that, it derates to 477 A at 55 °C, 455 A at 60 °C, 432 A at 65 °C, and 410 A at 70 °C. Maximum power loss is 99 W — account for that heat in the panel's thermal budget, especially in a sealed enclosure.
The 3-pole form factor is standard for 500 A MCCBs; verify the busbar spacing and lug kit compatibility with your existing panel layout. Communication function is onboard, so it can report status and trip data to a higher-level system without an external module.
