The frame is sized for panel mounting — 248 mm high, 184 mm wide, 110 mm deep — so it occupies a standard MCCB footprint in a distribution board or motor control center.
This breaker's interrupting rating changes with system voltage, which is the key selection parameter for fault-current coordination. At 240 V it clears 187 kA; at 415 V or 440 V that drops to 121 kA; at 500 V it's 75.6 kA; and at 690 V it's 9 kA. The 9 kA at 690 V still handles most 690 V motor branch circuits.
Thermal derating — real-world current
Above that, the breaker must be derated: 612 A at 45 °C, 593 A at 50 °C, 575 A at 55 °C, 557 A at 60 °C, 538 A at 65 °C, and 520 A at 70 °C.
Trip unit and adjustments
The ETU340 electronic trip unit provides adjustable neutral conductor protection: OFF, 50%, or 100% of the phase rating. Front-side protection is IP40.
