630 A MCCB with ETU320 — selectivity and thermal headroom
It carries a rated insulation voltage of 800 V, and its breaking capacity reaches 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 17 kA at 690 V — figures that govern fault-clearing capability at the service entrance or in a distribution sub-feed. The 630 A frame is sized for high-current bus feeds or large motor control center incomers. Thermal derating is published from 40 °C to 70 °C in 5 °C steps: 630 A at 40 °C, 612 A at 45 °C, 593 A at 50 °C, 575 A at 55 °C, 557 A at 60 °C, 538 A at 65 °C, and 520 A at 70 °C. Maximum power loss is 164.5 W.
Line protection version with undervoltage release
Dimensions: 248 mm height, 138 mm width, 110 mm depth. The 3-pole frame mounts in a standard distribution panel or MCC bucket; the 138 mm width is the same across the 3VA2 630 A frame family, so a panel cutout or busbar layout designed for a 630 A SENTRON accepts this unit without rework.
