630 A MCCB with shunt trip — SENTRON 3VA2 line protection
The Siemens 3VA2463-5HL32-0HA0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) sized for 630 A continuous at 40 °C ambient, with a thermal derating curve that drops to 520 A at 70 °C. Three-pole construction, line-protection design — no ground-fault monitoring, no auxiliary switch, no communication module. The built-in shunt trip (STL) release allows remote tripping via a control voltage signal. Interrupting capacity hits 187 kA at 240 V AC, 121 kA at 415/440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 9 kA at 690 V.
Dimensions 138 mm wide × 248 mm high × 110 mm deep. The 110 mm depth is the projection behind the panel face — check gland-plate clearance before cutting the opening. Standard SENTRON 3VA2 footprint; if your existing panel was cut for a 3VA1110 frame (smaller 100 A class), this 630 A frame will not drop in without re-cutting the mounting holes and bus bars. The 3VA2 family shares the same depth but the width and height increase with frame size.
