What this breaker carries
The Siemens 3VA2463-5HN42-0HC0 is a 4-pole IEC molded-case circuit breaker on the 3VA2 frame, rated 630 A continuous with a 55 kA interrupting capacity at 415 V AC (breaking capacity class M). That Icu means it can safely clear a fault up to 55 kA without welding contacts or rupturing the arc chamber — a common requirement for main or feeder breakers in industrial distribution panels where the available fault current is high. The electronic trip unit is an ETU350 with LSI protection: long-time (Ir adjustable 250–630 A), short-time (Isd 1.5–9× Ir), and instantaneous (Ii fixed at 9× In). The neutral conductor protection is adjustable to OFF, 50%, or 100% of the phase setting, which matters when you need to protect a reduced-neutral or 100%-rated neutral bus.
