The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2463-5JP32-0BC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 630 A continuous current at 40 °C, with a breaking capacity of 121 kA at 415 V. The current setting range spans 945 A minimum to 5,670 A maximum, giving selectivity headroom for downstream feeders.
At 240 V the MCCB interrupts 187 kA; at 440 V it holds 121 kA, and at 690 V it still clears 9 kA. That's a high-interrupting rating for a 630 A frame — suitable for low-voltage switchgear with high fault currents. The thermal derating curve is published: 630 A at 40 °C, 600 A at 45 °C, 570 A at 50 °C, stepping down to 450 A at 70 °C.
It mounts in a standard MCCB cutout or on a mounting plate inside a distribution panel. The unit ships with two auxiliary switches (HQ design) and the undervoltage release factory-fitted.
The SENTRON series carries IEC and UL certifications for global installation. The product designation is line protection — it's not a motor-protective breaker, so pair it with a separate overload relay for motor circuits.
