630 A MCCB with adjustable trip and high interrupting capacity
Its adjustable thermal-magnetic trip unit spans 945 A minimum to 5 670 A maximum — a 6:1 ratio that lets you dial in the exact overload and short-circuit threshold for the downstream load without swapping the breaker frame. Breaking capacity runs 187 kA at 240 V AC, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 9 kA at 690 V. At 690 V the 9 kA rating still clears a fault on a 690 V drive line, but you'd verify coordination with the upstream transformer impedance. Thermal derating is published per degree: 630 A at 40 °C, 600 A at 45 °C, 570 A at 50 °C, 540 A at 55 °C, 510 A at 60 °C, 480 A at 65 °C, 450 A at 70 °C. Maximum power loss is 164.5 W, which matters for enclosure heat rise calculations.
Dimensions, mounting, and auxiliary options
The 110 mm depth (4.33 in) leaves room behind the panel door for wiring gutters and auxiliary modules. Communication function is present, meaning it can integrate with a higher-level monitoring system via optional communication modules.
