For higher ambient temperatures, the continuous current must be derated per the datasheet curve: 600 A at 45 °C, 570 A at 50 °C, 540 A at 55 °C, 510 A at 60 °C, 480 A at 65 °C, and 450 A at 70 °C. This derating is critical for panel design in non-air-conditioned enclosures or high-heat environments.
Interrupting Capacity Across Voltage Levels
The breaker's interrupting capacity varies with system voltage: 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at both 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 9 kA at 690 V. For audit purposes, the 121 kA rating at 415 V is the figure most commonly referenced in European low-voltage distribution designs per IEC 60947-2.
Physical Dimensions and Panel Fit
The breaker measures 248 mm in height, 138 mm in width, and 110 mm in depth. The 110 mm depth is a key dimension for enclosure depth clearance — verify that the panel door or gland plate allows at least this depth plus wiring bend radius for the line and load conductors.
