630 A MCCB for line protection with communication and UVR
Breaking capacity across voltage levels
Rated short-circuit breaking capacity varies by system voltage: 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at both 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 9 kA at 690 V. At 690 V the 9 kA figure limits application to lower-fault industrial networks or transformer-secondary positions.
Continuous current rating derates with rising ambient temperature inside the enclosure: 630 A at 40 °C, 600 A at 45 °C, 570 A at 50 °C, 540 A at 55 °C, 510 A at 60 °C, 480 A at 65 °C, and 450 A at 70 °C.
Auxiliary switches and release configuration
The trip indicator confirms the breaker opened on fault vs. manual switching. No ground-fault monitoring version is included on this variant.
Physical dimensions and panel fit
Dimensions: 248 mm height, 138 mm width, 110 mm depth. The 3-pole frame fits standard MCCB mounting patterns in distribution panels. Depth of 110 mm is moderate — verify clearance for rear-connected busbars or cable terminations, especially in shallow enclosures.
