The 630 A frame at 40 °C is the thermal baseline; above that ambient the breaker must be derated — 600 A at 45 °C, 570 A at 50 °C, and stepping down to 450 A at 70 °C. The adjustable trip range (945 A minimum to 5 670 A maximum) lets you coordinate selectively with downstream breakers. Set the magnetic pickup high enough to ride through motor inrush without nuisance trips, but within the frame's SCCR envelope at your system voltage.
