630 A MCCB with adjustable trip and high interrupting capacity
Its adjustable thermal-magnetic trip unit covers a range from 945 A to 5670 A, letting you dial in the overload and short-circuit thresholds without swapping the breaker body. Breaking capacity runs 242 kA at 240 V AC and 187 kA at 415/440 V AC, dropping to 121 kA at 500 V and 9 kA at 690 V — numbers that matter for upstream fault duty coordination.
Thermal derating and ambient performance
Continuous current is temperature-dependent across the operating range of -25 °C to 70 °C. At 40 °C it carries the full 630 A; at 50 °C that drops to 593 A, and at 65 °C to 538 A. Maximum power loss is 164.5 W, which factors into enclosure thermal calculations for a sealed or high-fill panel.
The 138 mm width occupies three pole spaces on the rail.
