Breaking capacity is the real selector: 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415/440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 9 kA at 690 V. A lower I²t setting helps the downstream device clear a fault before this main trips; a higher setting holds in for coordination with upstream gear. No undervoltage release, no ground-fault module, no communication function.
Line protection and deployment context
Use it as a main incoming breaker in a distribution panel, feeder breaker in a switchboard, or tie breaker in a dual-source lineup. Mounts in a standard panel with a 138 mm width, 248 mm height, and 110 mm depth — fits common MCCB cutouts. The 162 W maximum power loss needs ventilation or derating if enclosed with other heat sources. If the panel is outdoors in a cold climate, the breaker starts and trips normally down to -25 °C.
