630 A MCCB for line protection — adjustable trip, high interrupt capacity
The electronic trip unit is field-adjustable from 945 A to 5 670 A, giving the specifying engineer selectivity headroom downstream — set it to 1 200 A on a 630 A frame and you can coordinate with 400 A feeders below. Continuous current derates linearly through the ambient range: 612 A at 45 °C, 593 A at 50 °C, down to 520 A at 70 °C. If the panel sits in a 50 °C boiler room, plan for 593 A actual capacity, not the 630 A nameplate. The 110 mm depth and 138 mm width fit standard MCCB footprints — drops into existing Sentron panel cutouts without re-bussing.
Auxiliary and release configuration
The shunt trip allows remote tripping via a control signal — useful for emergency-stop circuits or supervisory shutdown. Max power loss is 162 W at rated load.
