MCCB for high-fault panels
It carries an ETU560 electronic trip unit, which gives adjustable long-time, short-time, and instantaneous protection curves. The 3-pole design is configured for line protection — no undervoltage release, no voltage trigger, no phase failure detection. Communication function is onboard, so it can report status to a BMS or PLC over the plant network.
Current derating and thermal limits
Rated 630 A at 40 °C, but the thermal derating curve is steep: 600 A at 45 °C, 570 A at 50 °C, and down to 450 A at 70 °C. The maximum power loss is 162 W — that heat has to be vented inside the enclosure. The IP40 front protection means it's suitable for clean indoor panels but not washdown environments.
Dimensions are 248 mm height, 138 mm width, 110 mm depth. The auxiliary contact version is 2 auxiliary switches HQ; no trip indicator or undervoltage release is fitted.
