630 A SENTRON MCCB with ETU320 Trip Unit
The Siemens 3VA2463-7HL32-0AC0 is a 3-pole SENTRON molded case circuit breaker rated for 630 A continuous current at 40 °C, fitted with an ETU320 electronic trip unit for line protection duty. This is the version with 2 auxiliary switches HQ (high-qualified) integrated, no undervoltage release, no voltage trigger, and no communication module — a straightforward thermal-magnetic replacement with electronic trip curve adjustability. Interrupting capacity is specified per voltage: 330 kA at 240 V, 242 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 187 kA at 500 V, and 52.5 kA at 690 V. That covers most industrial low-voltage distribution panels where high fault current is expected — transformer secondaries, motor control centers, or main feeders. The continuous current rating derates with ambient temperature: 630 A at 40 °C, 612 A at 45 °C, 593 A at 50 °C, 575 A at 55 °C, 557 A at 60 °C, 538 A at 65 °C, and 520 A at 70 °C.

Dimensions are 248 mm height, 138 mm width, 110 mm depth. Front face carries IP40 protection — suitable for dry indoor panel environments.
Trip Unit and Auxiliary Contacts
No phase failure detection, no ground fault monitoring, and no communication function are included on this variant — it is a pure line-protection breaker without add-on modules. Two auxiliary switches HQ are factory-installed. The basic switch assembly is order code 3VA2463-7HL32-0AA0. No auxiliary release (shunt or undervoltage) is fitted; if remote tripping is needed, the breaker must be ordered with the release option or retrofitted.
