Thermal performance across the panel ambient range
As the panel warms up — and it will, with a 162 W max power loss — the continuous current derates in steps: 612 A at 45 °C, 593 A at 50 °C, 575 A at 55 °C, 557 A at 60 °C, 538 A at 65 °C, and 520 A at 70 °C. That's the thermal limit curve you need for a coordination study or to size the feeder.
Interrupting capacity across common voltages
Fault current ratings vary by system voltage: 330 kA at 240 V, 242 kA at both 415 V and 440 V, 187 kA at 500 V, and 9 kA at 690 V. The adjustable trip range — 945 A minimum to 5 670 A maximum — lets you dial in the magnetic pickup for the load. That's a wide window; a site electrical engineer can set it to ride through inrush on a big motor or tighten it for a feeder.
Built-in auxiliary and shunt trip options
It also has a voltage trip indicator and a mechanical trip indicator. The auxiliary switch complement means you can wire it into a PLC input for breaker status without adding a separate interface relay.
