What this 630 A MCCB carries
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2463-7HN32-0DC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 630 A continuous current at 40 °C, with a maximum breaking capacity of 330 kA at 240 V AC. That 330 kA figure drops to 242 kA at 415/440 V and 187 kA at 500 V, so the available fault current at the panel location determines which voltage column you use for coordination. It includes an undervoltage release (UVR) and two auxiliary switches HQ as shipped. Thermal derating is published across the range: 630 A at 40 °C, 612 A at 45 °C, 593 A at 50 °C, 575 A at 55 °C, 557 A at 60 °C, 538 A at 65 °C, 520 A at 70 °C. If your panel ambient runs above 40 °C, size the breaker one frame up or accept the lower continuous rating.
Panel fit and dimensions
The breaker measures 138 mm wide, 248 mm high, 110 mm deep. That 138 mm width is the standard 3-pole SENTRON 3VA frame footprint; it drops into the same mounting cutout and bus-bar pattern as other 3VA2-frame breakers. The undervoltage release and auxiliary switches are factory-installed — no field-add kit to track down.
