MCCB for high-fault-current main feeders
Its interrupting ratings — 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V, and 53 kA at 690 V — place it on high-fault-current mains or large feeders where the available fault current exceeds what a standard MCCB can clear. The 1000 A frame holds the full rating up to 55 °C ambient; above that it derates to 955 A at 60 °C, 885 A at 65 °C, and 815 A at 70 °C, so panel placement near heat sources needs a thermal check.
ETU320 trip unit — adjustable protection curves
The ETU320 electronic release gives adjustable long-time pickup Ir from 400 A to 1000 A and short-time pickup Ii from 1500 A to 10000 A, with a long-time delay tr adjustable from 0.5 s to 17 s.
The breaker mounts via four-point bolting to a backplate or mounting base; it does not snap onto a DIN rail. Verify the 210 mm width against the existing bus-bar or cable-connection spacing in the panel. The 8.3 in width and 12.6 in height give the panel layout reference for retrofit into an existing cutout.
