The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2510-5HN32-0CC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for line protection, carrying a continuous current of 1 000 A at 40 °C and an insulation voltage of 800 V. The ETU350 electronic trip unit gives you adjustable overload and short-circuit protection: Ir from 400 A up to 1 000 A, and Isd (short-time delay) adjustable between 0.04 s and 0.4 s. The breaking capacity is 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V, and 53 kA at 690 V — enough to handle high-fault utility feeds or large transformer secondaries without cascading upstream. At 60 °C ambient the breaker derates to 955 A, at 65 °C to 885 A, and at 70 °C to 815 A — so if your panel runs hot, size the load accordingly.

Long-time pickup Ir is adjustable from 0.4 to 1.0 × In (400–1 000 A), with time delay tr from 0.5 s to 17 s at 6× Ir. Short-time pickup Isd is adjustable from 1.5 to 10 × Ir (1 500–10 000 A), with delay tsd from 0.04 s to 0.4 s. Instantaneous pickup Ii is fixed at 10 000 A. This selectivity range lets you coordinate with downstream breakers without nuisance tripping on motor inrush.
