What this 1000 A MCCB carries
The ETU330 electronic trip unit gives you adjustable long-time pickup (Ir) from 0.5× to 1.0× Iu, with a time band tr from 0.5 to 17 seconds, so you can shape the curve to coordinate with downstream breakers without nuisance tripping on inrush. Breaking capacity runs 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415 V, and 74 kA at 690 V — those are the SCCR numbers your panel designer needs for the fault-current study. The N-conductor protection is adjustable OFF, 50%, or 100% of the phase pickup — useful on 4-wire systems where you want to detect ground faults on the neutral without tripping on normal imbalance. Ground-fault monitoring uses summation current on L+N conductors.
Full 1000 A rating holds through 55 °C ambient; at 60 °C it derates to 955 A, at 65 °C to 885 A, and at 70 °C to 815 A. The breaker dissipates 123 W maximum at rated current, so ventilation matters in a sealed cabinet. Dimensions are 280 mm wide × 320 mm high × 120 mm deep. That 120 mm depth (4.7 inches) is shallow enough to fit standard distribution panelboards without a deep enclosure. Front IP40 protection means it's fine for indoor switchgear but not washdown areas.
