That 1 000 A holds flat from 40 °C through 55 °C ambient — no derating needed in a typical warm panel — then steps down to 955 A at 60 °C, 885 A at 65 °C, and 815 A at 70 °C. For a 1 000 A bus or feeder, the thermal curve means you can run it at full rating in most enclosures without oversizing the cabinet ventilation. The interrupting ratings are the headline: 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415 V, and still 74 kA at 690 V. The ETU350 electronic trip unit gives adjustable long-time pickup (Ir) from 0.5 to 1 000 A, short-time delay (tsd) from 0.04 to 0.4 s, and instantaneous pickup (Ii) up to 10 000 A, so you can coordinate selectively downstream without sacrificing speed on hard faults.
The breaker measures 210 mm wide, 320 mm high, and 120 mm deep — a standard MCCB footprint for the 1 000 A frame class. Depth of 120 mm leaves room behind the panel door for wiring and the ETU interface without forcing a deeper enclosure than the rest of the gear requires.
