What this 1000 A MCCB delivers
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2510-6HN32-0BL0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 1000 A continuous current (Iu) with a breaking capacity of 242 kA at 240 V AC — enough to handle high-fault utility feeds or large transformer secondaries without cascading upstream. The ETU350 electronic trip unit gives you adjustable long-time (Ir 0.5–1.0× Iu, tr 0.5–17 s) and short-time (Isd, tsd 0.04–0.4 s) protection curves, plus a fixed instantaneous pickup at 10× Iu (li 10000 A). That means you can coordinate selectively with downstream feeders and still clear a bolted fault fast.
Panel fit and thermal derating
The breaker measures 210 mm wide × 320 mm high × 120 mm deep — a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint for a 1000 A frame. It carries its full 1000 A rating up to 55 °C ambient; at 60 °C you derate to 955 A, at 70 °C to 815 A. Mounting is via four screws on the rear flange — no DIN-rail clip on this frame size.
