The Siemens 3VA2510-6HN42-0AL0 is an IEC frame 1000 molded-case circuit breaker from the 3VA2 series, rated at 1000 A continuous and breaking 85 kA at 415 V (class H). The ETU350 trip unit provides LSI protection: long-time (Ir) adjustable 400–1000 A for overload, short-time (Isd) 1.5–10 x Ir for selective coordination downstream, and instantaneous (Ii) fixed at 10 x In for bolted faults. Neutral protection is field-selectable OFF, 50%, or 100% of phase rating.
The 3VA2 platform is Siemens' current-generation IEC breaker line, so firmware and accessory compatibility (auxiliary switches, shunt trips, communication modules) are supported.
Four-pole construction with line and load lugs for 1000 A cable or bus bar. The nut keeper kit (included) retains mounting hardware during vertical or horizontal installation — saves a hand when torquing down in a tight enclosure. Two HQ auxiliary switches and one HQ trip alarm plus one electrical alarm switch are factory-installed. The HQ designation indicates high-rupture-capacity contacts rated for control-circuit isolation without external interposing relays.
