The Siemens 3VA2563-5MN32-0DH0 is a 3-pole motor protection circuit breaker from the 3VA2 IEC frame 1000 series, rated In=630A with a breaking capacity class M of Icu=55kA at 415V AC. It carries the ETU350M LSI trip unit — that means it gives you long-time (L), short-time (S), and instantaneous (I) protection curves, all adjustable. Overload protection Ir is settable from 250A to 630A; short-circuit protection Isd adjusts from 3 to 15 times Ir, and the fixed instantaneous pickup Ii is 15 x In. This is a motor feeder breaker sized for large induction motors or a group of smaller motors on a common bus.
For motor starting duty, the ETU350M LSI curve lets you coordinate with downstream contactors and overload relays: set Isd high enough to ride through the inrush without nuisance tripping, but low enough to protect the feeder cable. The undervoltage release (UVR) is wired for 208-230V AC, 50/60 Hz — it will drop the breaker if control voltage is lost, which is standard for emergency-stop or safety-shutdown circuits. The nut keeper kit is a panel-builder detail: it retains the mounting nuts inside the enclosure so they don't fall out during installation.
Integration and accessories
The UVR is also pre-installed. The 3VA2 platform accepts plug-in accessories (shunt trip, auxiliary releases, rotary handles) that share the same mounting slots across the frame family.
