The Siemens 3VA2580-5KQ32-0JJ0 is a 3-pole IEC frame 1000 molded-case circuit breaker from the 3VA2 line, rated at 800 A continuous. The ETU860 trip unit provides LSIG protection — long-time (Ir 320–800 A), short-time (Isd 0.6–10x In), instantaneous (Ii 1.5–12x In), and ground-fault (Ig 0.2–1x In, tg 0.05–0.8 s) — covering full selectivity and personnel protection in a main or feeder breaker role. A factory-fitted shunt trip (left-side, 110–127 V AC/DC) is included for remote tripping.

The ETU860 is user-adjustable via the front dials and DIP switches — no software needed for basic settings. The shunt trip coil is rated for 110–127 V AC/DC; verify control voltage polarity for DC applications. Neutral conductor protection requires an external current transformer (not included). Ground-fault pickup and delay are selectable on the trip unit; set tg to 0.05 s for feeder coordination or 0.8 s for main breaker time delay.
