The 3VA2580-7JP32-0KH0 is a 3-pole IEC frame 1000 circuit breaker with a 110 kA breaking capacity at 415 V — that's the fault current it can safely interrupt without welding or rupturing, which governs the upstream transformer and bus bracing requirements. The ETU550 trip unit gives LSI protection: long-time (overload) adjustable from 320 A to 800 A, short-time (short-circuit with intentional delay) from 0.6 to 10× In, and instantaneous from 1.5 to 12× In. That range lets you coordinate selectively with downstream feeders so only the faulted branch clears. The built-in shunt trip on the left side accepts 208–277 V AC or 220–250 V DC for remote emergency-off or supervisory tripping.
This is a fixed (non-withdrawable) breaker sized for a standard IEC frame 1000 footprint. It mounts directly to a panel backplate or into a Siemens 3VA2 distribution board. The line and load terminals accept copper or aluminum busbars; the ETU550 is field-configurable via the front rotary dials without removing the cover. The shunt trip occupies the left accessory slot — verify polarity on the DC version before wiring.
