The Siemens 3VA2580-7JP42-0AA0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 800 A continuous current across a wide ambient range — it holds 800 A from 40 °C through 60 °C, then derates to 767 A at 65 °C and 703 A at 70 °C. That thermal stability makes it a strong choice for high-ambient panels in switchrooms or process areas where cooling is marginal. Four-pole construction with the ETU550 electronic trip unit gives adjustable long-time (tr 0.5–25 s), short-time (tsd 0.05–0.5 s), and instantaneous protection, plus N-conductor protection configurable to OFF, 50%, or 100% of the phase current.
