The Siemens 3VA4111-6ED24-3AA0 is a 2-pole circuit breaker from the 3VA4 series, UL Frame 125, with a 65 kA interrupting capacity at 480 V. That interrupting rating means it can safely clear a bolted fault up to 65 kA without welding contacts or rupturing the case — critical for high-fault panelboards or downstream of a large transformer where available fault current is substantial. The TM210 trip unit gives a thermal-magnetic curve: thermal overload set fixed at 110 A (Ir), magnetic short-circuit pickup fixed at 10 times In (1100 A). For a motor branch circuit or feeder, that 10x magnetic setting avoids nuisance tripping on inrush while still protecting against hard shorts.
Mounts on a standard DIN rail in a panel or enclosure. The 2-pole configuration fits single-phase or two-wire DC applications, or a single-phase branch on a 3-phase system where only two poles are needed. The H (high) breaking capacity class means it's sized for installations with higher available fault current — not for residential load centers but for industrial switchgear and distribution panels. Export control is AL: N / ECCN: EAR99, so no special licensing for most destinations.
RoHS compliant since May 2019. REACH Article 33 disclosure: lead (CAS 7439-92-1) above 0.1% w/w in certain components — this is typical for leaded solder joints or brass terminals in industrial breakers and triggers the duty-to-inform requirement if the part is incorporated into an article placed on the EU market. Compliance documentation (RoHS declaration, REACH SVHC statement) is available with the shipment.
