What this breaker is and what it does
The Siemens 3VA4125-6ED24-3AA0 is a 2-pole molded case circuit breaker from the 3VA4 series, built on a UL Frame 125 platform. It is rated for line protection with a TM210 thermal-magnetic trip unit, set at a fixed overload Ir of 25 A and a fixed short-circuit pickup Ii of 12 × In (300 A). The breaking capacity is 65 kA at 480 V (class H), which means it can safely interrupt fault currents up to that level on a 480 VAC system without upstream devices needing to clear the fault — a key spec for panel SCCR coordination. This is a 2-pole configuration, so it switches both ungrounded conductors in a single-phase or split-phase circuit. The FTFM designation indicates fixed thermal and fixed magnetic settings — no field adjustment of the trip thresholds. For a BOM line that needs a repeatable, non-adjustable 25 A protective device with a high interrupting rating, this part locks in the settings at the factory.
Compliance and documentation
RoHS compliance is confirmed since 13 May 2019. REACH Article 33 disclosure notes Lead (CAS 7439-92-1) above 0.1% w/w in the candidate list. The packaging dimensions are 472 × 396 × 213 mm, single unit.
