What's on the nameplate
The 3VA4130-5ED14-3AA0 is a Siemens 3VA4 series circuit breaker on a UL Frame 125, rated for a 35 kA interrupting capacity at 277 V on a 1-pole configuration. That breaking capacity means it clears a bolted fault up to 35 kA without the arc traveling or the case rupturing — sized for panelboard and lighting panel branch circuits where the available fault current lands in that range. Protection is TM210 with a fixed thermal-magnetic trip: overload pickup Ir is permanently set at 30 A, and the instantaneous short-circuit pickup Ii is locked at 10 × In (300 A). No dials to mis-set on site — what the BOM says is what the breaker does.
Compliance paperwork for the quality file
RoHS compliant since 13-05-19. REACH Article 33 triggers a lead CAS-No. 7439-92-1 declaration above 0.1% w/w in certain components — the supplier should provide the full declaration on request for your substance-of-concern register. Export Control: AL N / ECCN EAR99, no ITAR or Wassenaar restriction.
Panel fit — physical footprint
Packaged at 472 × 396 × 213 mm — that's the shipping carton, not the breaker body. The 3VA4 UL Frame 125 snaps onto a DIN rail or mounts via the rear studs. Single-pole width is roughly 25 mm per pole; this 1-pole unit fits in a standard 1-inch panel space. Verify the lug range against your conductor before wiring — the frame accepts up to the listed wire size for 125 A frames.
