Interrupting capacity and derating
The 3VA4150-4ED14-0AA0: Interrupting capacity depends on the line voltage: 65 kA at 120 V AC, 25 kA at 277 V AC, and 14 kA at 347 V AC. At the rated operating voltage of 415 V AC, the breaker is still capable of clearing high fault currents — the 65 kA figure at 120 V gives headroom for low-voltage secondary panels. Current derating starts at 40 °C: 50 A at 40 °C, dropping to 49 A at 45 °C, 47 A at 50 °C, 46 A at 55 °C, 44 A at 60 °C, 43 A at 65 °C, and 41 A at 70 °C.
Width is 25.4 mm (1 in) — a single-pole module that snaps onto DIN rail or mounts directly in a panel. Height 129.4 mm, depth 75.1 mm. No neutral conductor upgrade or retrofittable option; this is a straight 1-pole design.
The breaker carries UL file SEAB, confirming UL 489 listing for the US market. The product designation per UL file is SEAB. Maximum power loss is 3.2 W. RoHS and REACH compliance documentation is standard for Siemens SENTRON series; the manufacturer provides EU declaration of conformity and IEC 60947-2 test reports upon request.
