What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3VA4150-5ED14-3AA0 is a 1-pole circuit breaker from the 3VA4 series, built on a UL Frame 125 platform. It's rated for a breaking capacity class M of 35 kA at 277 V, meaning it can safely interrupt fault currents up to that level on a 277 V line without upstream damage. The TM210 thermal-magnetic trip unit gives you fixed overload protection at Ir=50 A and fixed short-circuit protection at Ii=10 x In (500 A). That fixed trip means no field-adjustable dials — what you order is what protects the circuit.
Compliance and documentation
RoHS compliant since 13-05-19. REACH Article 33 duty to inform applies: the part contains Lead (CAS-No. 7439-92-1) above 0.1% w/w in the current candidate list. Export control is AL: N / ECCN: EAR99, so no special license required for standard shipments.
Panel integration note
Mounts on a DIN rail in the enclosure. The 1-pole width saves rail space compared to multi-pole breakers. With a fixed Ir=50 A, verify your conductor sizing and terminal temperature rise per UL 489 — no derating curve to tweak, but the fixed trip means the breaker is the protection, not an adjustable range.
