On a 240 V line it interrupts up to 85 kA; at 480 V that drops to 35 kA — still enough headroom for most industrial service entrances.
The 80 A rating at 40 °C is the baseline — but this breaker is also rated at higher ambients: 78 A at 45 °C, 77 A at 50 °C, 75 A at 55 °C, 74 A at 60 °C, 72 A at 65 °C, and 70 A at 70 °C. If your panel runs hot, you don't have to oversize; just use the derated figure. The interrupting ratings at 480 Y/277 V and 600 Y/347 V are 35 kA and 18 kA respectively — useful if you're feeding from a 277/480 V wye service.
The breaker measures 76.2 mm wide, 129.4 mm tall, and 75.1 mm deep — a standard MCCB footprint that drops into most SENTRON panelboards and distribution blocks without modification. Front IP40 means it's suited for enclosed panel mounting where the door seals the rest.
