It carries a TM210 thermal-magnetic release, with a fixed long-time pickup at 80 A and a magnetic short-circuit pickup fixed at 800 A (10× Iu). At 480 V the rating drops to 65 kA, still enough for most plant distribution. At 600 V phase-to-phase the rating is 25 kA, so check available fault current if your service is 600 V class.
Thermal derating — what the ampacity curve means for your panel
Above that, the breaker derates: 78 A at 45 °C, 77 A at 50 °C, 75 A at 55 °C, 74 A at 60 °C, 72 A at 65 °C, and 70 A at 70 °C. Maximum power loss is 16.5 W. That's the heat the breaker dumps into the enclosure at full rated current.
The breaker measures 129.4 mm tall, 76.2 mm wide, and 75.1 mm deep. That's roughly 5.1 × 3 × 3 inches. It's a compact 3-pole MCCB — fits in a standard panel footprint without needing a deep enclosure.
