What this breaker is and what the ratings mean
The Siemens 3VA4190-5ED24-3AA0 is a 2-pole molded case circuit breaker from the 3VA4 series, built on a UL Frame 125 platform. It is rated 90 A continuous (In) with a fixed overload protection setting (Ir = 90 A) and a fixed short-circuit protection pickup (Ii = 10 × In, so 900 A). The breaking capacity is 35 kA at 480 V AC, which is the M (medium) breaking capacity class — enough for most 480 V distribution panels where the available fault current stays under that threshold. The TM210 trip unit means thermal-magnetic, line protection only (no electronic adjustment, no ground-fault module).
