What it is and what it fits
The 3VA9112-0JC12 is a SENTRON circular conductor terminal — a wire connector for the 3VA1 160 molded-case circuit breaker frame. It accepts copper or aluminum conductors from 4 AWG up to 300 kcmil stranded (25–150 mm² CU/AL per the IEC marking), with a wire stripping length of 1.2 in. The built-in control wire voltage tap-off lets you pick off a lower-voltage signal without a separate terminal block, saving a DIN-rail position inside the panel.
Terminal ratings and compliance
The terminal carries UL marking TA2.1 CMC 4-300 CU7AL UR CSA, meaning it is UL-recognized and CSA-certified for the full 4 AWG–300 kcmil range on both copper and aluminum. The IEC marking (25–150 mm² CU/AL NNL) confirms the same metric range. For a panel builder, this means one terminal covers both aluminum feeder and copper branch without needing a separate bi-metallic adapter — relevant when the main breaker feeds an aluminum bus bar but downstream conductors are copper.
