What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3VA9112-0JF60 is a SENTRON wire connector TA2.5 — a multi-conductor terminal block designed for use with the 3VA1 160 molded-case circuit breaker family. It accepts 6 cables per unit, each in the 1.5 to 35 mm² range, and ships as a pack of two. Rated for copper and aluminum conductors, solid, stranded, and finely stranded. Solid copper from 14 AWG to 10 AWG; stranded copper from 14 AWG to 2 AWG. Aluminum solid from 12 AWG to 10 AWG; stranded aluminum from 12 AWG to 2 AWG. Carries UL marking TA2.5 CMC 14-2 CU7 12-2 AL7 UR CSA and IEC marking 1.5-35 mm² CU 4-35 mm² AL NNL, confirming compliance with North American and international terminal standards.
Integration into the 3VA1 panel
This accessory mounts directly to the 3VA1 160 frame — no adapter or modification needed. The TA2.5 connector replaces the standard line/load terminals when you need to land six conductors per phase instead of the usual one or two. UL terminal marking specifies TA2.5 CMC 14-2 CU7 12-2 AL7 UR CSA — the 14-2 CU7 range means solid copper from 14 AWG through 2 AWG (7-strand), and 12-2 AL7 for aluminum. IEC marking covers 1.5-35 mm² for copper and 4-35 mm² for aluminum. Panel builders should verify the available wire bending space inside the enclosure — six 35 mm² conductors per phase take up significant gutter room. The connector itself is rated for the full breaker ampacity.
