The 3VA9234-0JC13: The terminal handles both copper and aluminum stranded conductors across the same 2 AWG to 350 kcmil range, and finely stranded copper in the same span. That means you can land the same lug on a 2 AWG control feeder or a 350 kcmil main feed without swapping parts — one connector covers the spread. The 1.2 in strip length is the target for the crimp or mechanical lug; go shorter and you risk poor contact, longer and you expose bare conductor past the insulator.
